Client Challenge

  • The National Eye Institute, a member of the NIH, wanted to create a virtual experience to show patients what it is like to live with eye disease
  • They began building an educational app called See What I See using Virtual Reality (VR), using the Google Cardboard and Oculus Quest platforms
  • Partway into development, after running into technical difficulties with their initial development partner, they sought a new partner with deeper VR experience
